Born on the 11th of April, 1978, at the renowned Ohiaeri Memorial Hospital in Aba, Nduka Valentine Aloysius Anyanwu is the second son and third child of the late Mr. Mercilinus Ugwuobikansi Anyanwu and Mrs. Agnes Onyekaozuru Anyanwu. Hailing from Umuanukwu, Okirika-Ama Umuokirika, in the Ahiazu Mbaise Local Government Area of Imo State, Nigeria, his roots run deep.
Nduka’s formative years were spent in Aba, the bustling city of Abia. He commenced his academic journey at Township Primary School, Aba, and later pursued his secondary education at Osusu Secondary School, Aba. In 1996, he completed his Senior Secondary Certificate Examination (SSCE) at Ngwa Ihekwe Secondary School in Abia State.
Following his secondary education, Nduka ventured into the pharmaceutical business in Ariaria, Aba, after completing his apprenticeship under the guidance of “John Sekes.” Additionally, he delved into transportation and other entrepreneurial endeavors before his migration to South Africa in 2000.
In Johannesburg, South Africa, Nduka Anyanwu extended his educational pursuits by studying at GEM Nursing School. Armed with medical expertise, he emerged not only as a healthcare practitioner but also as a business magnate with a string of successful enterprises across South Africa and Nigeria.
Driven by an unyielding desire to give back to society, Nduka established the Nduka Anyanwu Foundation. Through this remarkable initiative, he endeavors to combat poverty, striving to reduce it to the barest minimum. His pursuit of excellence and elegance remains unwavering, encapsulated in his resounding belief that elegance is, indeed, an attitude.
In his unwavering commitment to liberating the people of Ahiazu Mbaise from political strangulation, misrepresentation, and retrogression, Nduka Anyanwu vied for the Ahiazu Mbaise State Constituency seat in the 2023 general election as the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) candidate. Though his electoral bid fell short, his vision and dedication remain unscathed.
